Fall is the best!
Even if it snows unseasonably early. Here's our snow dancer.

Triplets at school!
November 8th: Election day! This is when I had such high hopes.
And Esther was wearing her suffragette white to celebrate the election those who have fought for women's right to vote.
The next morning Ant and I were in shock and disbelief, nauseous...
But the kids were being spontaneously super cute and cuddly which helped me feel the love and remember that there's more to life than politics.
Then I had to act like everything was normal at a field trip to a grocery store. Looking back, I suppose it was a helpful distraction so I didn't completely wallow all day.

A night of making scarfs with friends. It was hillarious, and fun. And I'm so glad I didn't try to do this alone.
We watch Jacob often. He and Esther get mistaken for twins just as often. I wonder why?
Just playing outside
Are our kids lacking in toys or something. Playing with sippy cup parts.

Went to a beautiful concert of Japanese chorus pieces. My friend Aya performed in it.

We prefer it when he's home. :)

Got fancy with our tree at home this year, and actually made a plan.
Took a drawing class from my friend Brooke Skousen for a few weeks. But then she and Hope (my other classmate), both had babies, so the class got occupied with other essentials of life.
I asked the primary children to make welcome cards for Syrian Refugees who've moved to the area.
This year the ward decided to include refugee families in the "giving tree." It's been our tradition for the past few years to choose individuals that correspond with our family members, so each person can pick out presents for someone who is their age and gender.
Heading to Utah! Unfortunately Esther threw up all over herself just as we pulled up to the airport. After 7 years of carrying spare clothes for kids onto airplanes, all that effort finally paid off. We just felt really bad for our friend Jared, who had to go home and clean up after her.
There was a lot of illness while hanging out with the fam. Partially due to our stomach bug, and then also to a flu from another cousin, that completely wiped some of us out. But in moments of health, we had lots of fun.

Christmas Eve
We had a gospel centered activity with a special visit from Mary and Joseph. It was really great and I may or may have not gotten more than misty eyed.
Christmas Morning!
Keeping these for blackmail purposes. ;)
We made it home without anyone throwing up on the plane, stopped at the pharmacy to load up on meds, then canceled our New Year's Eve party so we didn't make anyone else sick.
Impromptu Nativity.
Esther hijacked baby Jesus and wouldn't let him out of her arms.
Happy New Year! Look how pale Anthony is. sigh...
