Michigan

Ira trying to eat his Halloween candy in secret.

Had to pull these suckers out before Winter got too serious.

I'm posting this for you True Stories fans out there.
This reminded me of the "I am the King of the World" scene.

Thanksgiving Roadtrip
Georgia or Bust!  We experimented with driving through the night.  It took about 14 hours, and the boys were troopers.  After 3 stops in the first 3 hours, Esther did great as well.

Entering the South with a cultural experience.

Made it to Peach Tree City, where we stayed with the Romeros
and were also able to visited with the Applebees and my parents.

Hot tub time!

Found the nieces getting to know their new cousin.

The trip made for happy memories, worth every minute of the drive.

Before we headed back to Michigan, we were able to visit with the Hostetlers.  If I have the timeline right in my head, we've been able to see them in 3 states in the past 4 months!

My gentlemen back home again.

A Family Photo Shoot (to make you feel better about yours)

Fall Photo Shoot

Between boys who didn't want to be photographed, a crying baby, a broken camera remote, postpartum weight, and a few minutes of hail, this was an exciting day.  I post these in hopes of helping every other family on the planet feel better about their family photos. :)
