Utah: Part II

Utah trip: Part II

Grandma and Grandpa Quinn's House

Paul and Valine have had major garden success this year.
Their greenhouse is full of tomato plants 9 feet tall!

Is it me, or does Eliot's excited face (below) look just like Paul's excited face (above)?

Esther's first Hike
Stewart Falls

Simons!

The Fish Hatchery in Midway

Wasatch County Fair

Valine won a load of awards from produce and flowers grown in her garden.

Hike to Ruth Lake

The boys all automatically started stripping down to skinny dip.  I felt like I was inside an impressionist painting.

This is what my smile looks like when my mouth is full of french fries.
And this is our friend Carmen!  The Hostetlers are our friends from MI, who now live down South, but happened to be in UT at the same time.

Bowling with the Francis cousins at BYU.

Beautiful cousins!

Hiking Timp Cave

Anthony, the boys and the Simons went.  Esther and I had the sniffles and stayed home.

Fishing with Grandma and the Hopkinsons

Eliot felt a tug, so Addie helped him reel it in.

He was the only one who caught something, and was thrilled.

Esther

I think she looks just like her Hopkinson cousins in this one.

Esther's Grandma Quinn quilt!  The elephants match the elephant mural in her room.

These pics refused to rotate, but I love looking at them despite it.

Dad love

Cascade Falls

On the way to the falls.
Nothin' like staying in your pj's all day and riding in Grandpa's Ranger.

All in all, we had a blast.  It was a huge blessing being with family while recovering from birth and getting use to a new baby in the family.  It was hard to leave.
